Edmonton Eskimos: 2013 Schedule


The Edmonton Eskimos were found in 1949, they are a leading football team representing Alberta, Edmonton. They compete for home games at the Commonwealth Stadium, where outstanding entertaining events are held.  The professional football team competes in the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The competitive team has won the Grey Cup championship 13 times, with the most recent win in 2005.  The team holds a sports record of qualifying for the playoffs 34 consecutive years through 1972-2005. Their rivalry is amongst Calgary Stampeders is what keeps the professional football team on their toes to compete. The mascot of the Edmonton Eskimos is the Nanook and Punter. Additionally, the Eskimos have a very dedicated fan group, the Commonwealth Stadium always experience’s a “sold out” day when the team plays. The 2013 schedule has been posted; the fans are anxiously waiting for this year’s exciting round to begin.

The Commonwealth Stadium is located at 11,000 Stadium Road, the stadium hosts many sports events and concerts for tourists to enjoy, and it hosted the FIFA-19 Woman’s World Championship and the Grey Cup.It can seat up to 60,000 fans. The stadium is home to the Edmonton Eskimos for the past 30 years, the lucky stadium has the most memorable Canadian events in history.
